The Magic Wands are a band set to break through this year after receiving an excellent response to their 2009 EP Magic & Dreams. Chris and Dexy Valentine draw heavily on influences like the Jesus and Mary Chain and have a sound that is instantly like-able and totally sugar sweet dreamy danceable pop sprinkled with dirty guitars. They're reportedly recording their debut album in a San Franciscan studio before release later this year.
