Album News - Kaiser Chiefs, MGMT

Everybody's favourite band from Leeds, Kaiser Chiefs has returned to the studio to begin recording their next album. Frontman Ricky Wilson revealed the band "needed to get bored" in order to rediscover their hunger for writing new music.

"After a couple of months we got bored," Ricky Wilson told BBC. "Then I got really bored, then mind-numbingly bored and that's when you start thinking about the fact you want to get up and do something again."

Unfortunately there's currently no release date set for the album so fans will just have to cross their fingers.

Electro popsters MGMT have provided further details on their follow up album to 'Oracular Spectacular'. Their new album will be titled 'Congratulations' and is scheduled for release in early April this year.

The tracklisting has also been announced

'It's Working'
'Song for Dan Treacy'
'Someone's Missing'
'Flash Delirium'
'I Found a Whistle'
'Siberian Breaks'
'Brian Eno'
'Lady Dada's Nightmare'
'Congratulations'
