Album News - The Dead Weather, Them Crooked Vultures, The Strokes

The Dead Weather's Jack White told Triple J that the bands new album will be out at as soon as April. White added that the record was "bluesier and heavier than we ever thought we could be" and stated that the first single, 'Blue Blood Blues', would see him take on vocal duties instead of Alison Mosshart.

Them Crooked Vultures appear to have another album on the way with bassist John Paul Jones having said that the band expect to have their second album out before 2010 is up.

As reported by NME, The Strokes are entering the studio this month to start work on their fourth album. Both U2 and Beck are reported to be producing.
